This is one of my favorite books to read aloud during Thanksgiving!

This counting book is silly as could be and I promise your students will be giggling at each of the 10 Turkeys included in this story! 

Turkey Trouble

Turkey Trouble has been a staple in my classroom for many years! This turkey does not want to be eaten during Thanksgiving so it dresses up and tried to hide! After we read this story we do a turkey in disguise craft which is always a favorite!

If you are looking for a classic Thanksgiving Story this is the one for you! This story follows a family of turkeys getting ready for Thanksgiving and let's just say not everything goes smoothly. This story focuses on family and being thankful so it is a must read during the holidays!

A Plump and Perky Turkey

If you enjoyed reading Turkey Trouble you will love this book too! Since all the turkeys are in hiding (trying not to be eaten) the town decides to try and trick the turkeys into coming to the feast by asking the turkeys to be their models. They create crafts and art pieces to look like the turkey, and it seems like it might just work! But don't worry, our turkey escapes in the silliest way!
