Daily Break Down: 

⭐ Day 1:

• School Store Dramatic Play: Set up a mini Back to School dramatic play center in your classroom! Students can shop for school supplies using the provided checklist, price list, and pretend money. Create back-to-school specials with the "Deal of the Day" sign or set up a math center with the "Build a Box" activity by counting supplies to fill a pencil box.

 

• I Can Make Dots!: This no-prep craft center is a perfect way to teach students how to use dot markers. Students will practice using each color to place dots in the circles on the craft page.

⭐ Day 2: 

• I Can Color!: Set up a sensory bin with a filler of your choice and add the crayon cards. Students practice using crayons by pulling a card from the bin and coloring the corresponding crayon on the craft page.

 

• Book Stack: Students work on fine motor skills and pattern recognition with this easy-to-set-up counting cube center.

⭐ Day 3:

• Build a Backpack: Students work on matching skills by building a backpack on the mat according to the pattern on the card. You can turn this center into a craft by letting students cut and paste each item, or laminate the pieces for a reusable center. 24 Backpack cards are provided.

 

• Backpack Fill: Strengthen scissor skills with this no-prep craft! Students can cut and paste school supplies onto the backpack craft page. Alternatively, focus on the letter "Bb" by tracing the letters and gluing them to the "B is for Backpack" craft page. Both black-and-white and color options are provided.

⭐ Day 4:

• Dot Dot Not a Lot!: Help your students learn how to use a glue bottle with these no-prep craft pages. Students place a dot of glue on each circle on the page to create school-themed images. Dot pages provided include: apple, backpack, paint, pencil, school, scissors, bus, crayon, pencil cup, and glue. Both black-and-white and color options are provided.

 

• Cookie Sort: Cookie sort activities have become a classroom favorite! Students can build their cookie tray with school-themed cookies and match each cookie pattern card. 16 pattern cards are included.

⭐ Day 5:

• Supply Hunt: Set up a sensory bin with school supplies (or turn it into a scavenger hunt!). Students find each school supply item and color it on the sheet. School supply cards are provided if you prefer not to use real items.

 

• I Can Paint!: Teach students how to paint with this no-prep craft center! Use a paintbrush to trace each shape on the craft pages. Shape pages include: circle, square, triangle, and mixed.
